Bringing together the people and conversations at the heart of every gathering.

I’ve always believed a room can change the way people feel. Mahjong showed me that a table can do the same.

For over a decade, my work as an interior designer has been about creating spaces that slow people down: warm, considered, and made to be lived in. The Sandalwood Club grew from that same instinct.

I play Taiwanese Mahjong, and what drew me in was never just the game. It was the atmosphere it creates, with a few hours of focus, laughter and quiet competition around a single table. The Sandalwood Club is our way of sharing that feeling: private gatherings in considered settings, where seasoned players and first timers alike find their place.

Every detail of the club, from the tiles we play with to the gatherings we host, is designed to feel like an invitation. I look forward to welcoming you to the table.

Shaping every detail of the club, from the room we gather in to the tiles on the table.

The most interesting things in life often begin with the people we meet. I like to think they arrive exactly when they’re meant to.

Having lived across continents, built businesses and moved between cultures, I’ve learned that places change, but the people and conversations are what we remember most.

The Sandalwood Club grew from a desire to create something beyond a social gathering — a space where interesting minds meet, friendships develop and new possibilities unfold. Mahjong became a natural part of that vision. A game steeped in tradition, yet wonderfully relevant today, bringing people together around one table to ignite human connection through a shared experience.

For me, it’s about the company we keep and the moments that stay with us long after the last tile is played. I look forward to welcoming you to the table.
